MOVE START Psoriasis Study
The University of Manchester has launched the MOVE SMART study to explore how lifestyle changes—like diet, exercise, and stress management—can support people living with psoriasis. This program combines medical insight with real-life experiences to better understand how these non-medication approaches may improve symptoms and wellbeing.

'STEPS' Workshop for people with Psoriasis
Status: OPEN
Dr Charlotte Gollins, Dermatology Registrar at the Royal United Hospital in Bath, is looking for volunteers to join a workshop that explores the 'STEPS' of change from one biologic to another in Psoriasis.
Some people with Psoriasis need treatment with drugs called ‘biologic/ targeted synthetic therapies’. The drugs are very effective but unfortunately, they can stop working for some patients who then need to switch to a different drug. Finding out why drugs stop working is the aim of this project.

'SWITCH' Workshop
Status: Closed
Dr William Tillett is looking for volunteers to join a workshop that explores the 'SWITCH' from one biologic to another in Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA). About 50% of people with PsA need treatment with drugs called ‘biologic/ targeted synthetic therapies’. The drugs are very effective but unfortunately, they can stop working for some patients who then need to switch to a different drug Finding out why drugs stop working and how to get control of it again is a high priority to people living with PsA. Dr Tillett wants to know how people feel about changing drugs, what they want from a drug change, or what circumstances prompt health professionals to discuss a switch of drugs - what is important to patients and health professionals in the decision making process and if the benefits of switching are worthwhile.

'HPOS' Study
The HPOS study is a research project looking at how healthcare and health outcomes differ depending on where people live and their backgrounds, especially for those with long-term health conditions. The study wants to understand why some people have better or worse health experiences based on factors like income, where they live, and access to medical care. By working closely with patients as partners in the study, HPOS aims to gather insights that could lead to fairer healthcare policies and improve care for everyone.
